Instructions for Use – Saalio^® Axillary Electrodes

for gentle and effective application in the axillary area:

• for hygienic reasons, the sponge pocket should be used by only one person
• carefully clean the skin areas to be treated before applying the sponge electrodes
• remove ointments, creams, and cosmetic residues beforehand
• insert the silicone electrodes completely into the sponge pockets to avoid potential current-related skin damage
• before starting treatment, thoroughly soak the sponge pockets and do not wring them out afterwards (the sponge pockets must be dripping wet to ensure proper current flow)
• if necessary, rewet the sponge pockets during treatment. To do this, pause the therapy and soak them again
• place the prepared sponge pockets with the connection cables facing forward into the armpits and hold them in place with gentle pressure under the arms

Additional tips and information for iontophoresis therapy

• avoid strong movements during treatment, as this may cause current fluctuations
• a microfiber cloth that has been washed several times in the washing machine can be useful for cleaning the skin areas beforehand
• you can wrap a towel around your chest to protect yourself from dripping water and to stay warm
• keep the sponge pockets clean at all times and remove the electrodes from the sponge pockets after each treatment to allow them to dry
